Gary worked 25 years as an executive with a Fortune 100 Company and retired as a Corporate Sales Officer in 2003. Gary is also a retired United States Marine Corps Officer with over 21 years active and reserve duty service. He holds a Bachelor and MBA from Wayne State University. His wife Linda spent over 25 years as an educator and librarian and also hold a MSLS from Wayne State University.
Over the years, Gary and Linda have traveled extensively throughout the world and are veterans of over 70 cruises. They have cruised on virtually every cruise line in the industry and have cruised throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Alaska, Panama Canal, the Mexican Riviera, the Hawaiian Islands, the South Pacific, and Australia and New Zealand.
In 2005, Gary and Linda purchased their Cruise Planners Travel Agency in order to share their vast travel and cruise knowledge with their customers. In addition to their travel experience they have also completed numerous travel industry courses, and they continue to expand their travel knowledge through additional industry courses as they are made available including being certified by the various cruise lines.
Royal Caribbean Expert Plus, Celebrity Cruise Lines Five Star Certified, Norwegian Specialist, Azamara Cruises Platinum Globe Certified, Princess Cruises Commodore, Disney Cruises and Resorts Certified, just to name a few. We are also certified with numerous other cruise lines and tour companies.
